Halloween 2015

Halloween 2015 was the best one yet. Little Declan had his first Halloween, and I feel like Kylie finally got the hang of trick or treating:) At one point she was so excited running door to door that she tripped and dropped all her candy. As I picked her up she said "I'm fine Mommy" and in a more panicked tone "Is the candy still good?!" The girl knows her priorities:)

Friday was a LONG day, but that doesn't mean I was too tired to sift through a few sales;) I found some really good deals at Carter's, and I got quite a few things for my two little munchkins......and since my Nordstrom's app was only a hop, skip, and a jump away I found a thing or two I wanted! My birthday is just around the corner, and who doesn't treat themselves to a little pre-birthday gift?

Ever since her recital Kylie has been obsessed with lip gloss. She insisted on finding "me" a color today and then asked if she could "keep it" for me in her room;) This was after we got money from the ATM troll. According to Kylie he lives in the machine and gives people money, and as we left she requested that I "roll down her window so she could thank him"....ha ha:)

8 months!!

This little guy is getting soooo big! We spent the day trying to relax at home, but most of it was spent chasing this little cutie around now that he can crawl;) Happy 8 months my sweet little baby! 

A little break from blogging

I can't believe a month and a half has passed since my last blog post. For my 4 loyal followers-my mom, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, and husband-I'm back! I know the 4 of you have been waiting with bated breath since my last post;) A lot has happened over the last month and a half....I got a new job, Declan started crawling, and Kylie's learned to swim!

We had a great weekend full of movies and snuggles:) I love when it rains! However, some of us have to go outside to use the potty, and this little doggy doesn't like to get his paws wet. I practically had to shove him out the door....ha ha;) Hope we get more rain soon!

This little guy took his first trip to the beach yesterday, and I am always looking for quick and easy ways to put sunscreen on him and Kylie. I found this stick sunscreen and this brush on sunscreen at Anthropologie. They both seemed to have good reviews, and I can't wait to try them out! Maybe I can even get Joey to use them;)

Birthday festivities

Today we celebrated Joey's birthday with a trip to the water park and then some dinner just the two of us:) It was the perfect day!

This little guy missed out at the water park, but he got to spend the day with his Nonna napping and eating. I think he had a pretty good day too;)

So much fun, but still a little too small for some of the rides:(

Food trucks

Today we went to the food trucks for dinner. It was so yummy, and you get a lot of choices for dinner and dessert:) Kylie brought her play money, but unfortunately they did not accept it, and she had to resort to asking us for money to get her grilled cheese and churro;)

Just one more purchase, and I promise I'm done! This sweater is so adorable and comfy that I just had to have it, and I also absolutely LOVE this color (berry)! I didn't get everything off of my post yesterday, so I figured one more little treat wouldn't hurt;) I also took advantage of getting the Nordstrom card and got double points and a $20 Nordstrom Note:) Only cute pictures of Kylie and Declan coming the next couple of days because I'm not even looking;)

Well today has been a super busy day full of gymnastics, play time, and a partial swim lesson (due to the weather), and now that everyone's sleeping I can finally sit down and make a few purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:) I'll have to admit that I'm a bit overwhelmed, not only because there is so much, but because I can't decide on what I want the most!

Selfies

Lately this little girl has been keeping me on my toes. She has been getting into everything! Today while picking out some of my favorites in preparation for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale she snagged my iPad and started snapping selfies. When I went to look through them I couldn't stop laughing:) She took so many pictures! I love this little girl so much, and I can't wait to see what she's going to do, say, or get into tomorrow:)

I've been checking online the past two days, and I haven't seen any deals that I have to get in on:(  So, with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale just a hop, skip, and a jump away I thought I should start preparing (and by preparing I mean get a Nordstrom card) for early access to the sale;) If you have their card you can get access to the sale on July 9th-before everyone else! I've got quite a few things picked out on my wish already, and I'm hoping a few of those things go on sale. Aside from preparing for the upcoming sale we've been keeping cool in the pool:)
