Polar Express and letter to Santa

We took a ride on the Polar Express to the North Pole last week. While we were there we saw Santa, and he even got on the train with us! Kylie was a little hesitant when he got close. She prefers Santa from a distance;)

Kylie also wrote her first letter to Santa and mailed it off. Macy's gives a dollar to the Make-A-Wish foundation for every letter sent to Santa. 

After she mailed it off she wanted it back...lol:) She wanted to hand deliver it to Santa and make sure that he got it. 

Christmas lights & getting our tree:)

Last week we went to look at Christmas lights and pick out our tree. One of my favorite things to do around the holidays is have a warm Starbucks drink and see all the beautiful Christmas lights:) This house was Kylie's favorite. I think it was my favorite too! 

Next, we went to look for a tree. We told Kylie that she could pick one out, but she couldn't make up her mind. I think there were too many to pick from, and she was a little overwhelmed! It's alright Kylie I think I would be too;)

We finally left with a tree and went home to decorate. I absolutely LOVE this time of the year!

Tabika

Tabika is our elf. Her name is Tabitha, but Kylie calls her Tabika, so that's what we've been calling her;) She's been getting into a little mischief lately and apparently has a bit of a sweet tooth. She not only got into the M&Ms, but also Kylie's yummy birthday cake pops! 

Tabitha those aren't for you! Kylie's been running around the house saying "silly Tabika". Yes, she is pretty silly, and we can't wait to see what she's up to tomorrow:)

Kylie's 3!!!

I can't believe our little baby turned 3 today! Kylie and I celebrated with a mani, and then lunch and playing at the park with Daddy:) 

She was so good and sat through the whole mani. She told the manicurist all about our elf Tabika (Tabitha-Kylie has trouble pronouncing her name;)

Tomorrow Kylie gets to pick out a fish for her new tank. She says she wants five fish, but I think we'll be starting with one;)

Gone for just a few months.....;)

Things have been quite crazy around here the last few months, and after a somewhat long absence I'm trying to get back into blogging. 

We found out we were expecting again, and we are currently five short weeks away from meeting the little guy:) Yay!!

Things have finally slowed down, and recently I have found myself getting to spend a little more time with two of my favorite people. 

Kylie started her first dance class! She's taking a tap/ballet/tumbling combo class. She spent the first few classes observing while everyone else danced, but now she is dancing her little heart out every week:)

She is also learning a lot about being a big sister. 

Kylie learned how to change a diaper, hold a baby, and even saw a newborn at the hospital during our Tyke Hike:) I think she's starting to get as excited as us to meet him!
