My little baby is 5 months today!

Little Declan celebrated 5 months today! He's smiling all the time and laughing at everything his big sister Kylie does:) He just loves watching her, and I can't wait to see them play together!

We also took some family photos:) You will notice as you scroll through the photos that Kylie has mastered the art of the "phony smile" when she's not in the mood for taking pictures. The first photo turned out good, but as we kept taking photos she got tired and had to "force" herself to smile;)

We had to bribe her with a cake pop and a mini milk from Starbucks just to get through the photos!

Back to work

My maternity leave is coming to an end, and it is time for me to head back to work:(

Declan knows exactly how I'm feeling, and he says "boo" to work!

I am going to miss my morning snuggles with these two the most ❤️                        

                                  

Declan and Kylie knew how bummed I was and insisted that I treat myself to a little shopping to buoy my spirits. Who am I to refuse the wants of these two adorable little ones? 

Through May 31 Nordstrom is having their half yearly sale, and surprisingly I found a few things ;)

I LOVE these little moccasins for Declan, and of course Kylie needs a pair too-unfortunately they didn't have her size:( No worries I found this swimsuit! I also found a few things for myself~ these flats and these sandals(I have a weakness for anything with a bow!) I wouldn't wait too long to get the things you want~they're selling out fast.

Declan's Baptism

Sunday we celebrated Declan's baptism. We had such a wonderful day with our families and friends. We couldn't have asked for a better day:)

Trying to get the perfect picture never seems to work out.  Declan is spitting up, Kylie didn't want the bow on her dress tied and not one of us is looking at the camera:) Oh well, it was a great day anyway❤️

Amazon-Crocs on sale!

Kylie's new Crocs.....she refused to put them on this morning and model them for a picture :( She said she would take a picture of me in them...ha ha;)

~these particular Crocs are not part of the sale. 

We just got Kylie these Crocs at the mall, and we paid full price! I wish I would have waited a couple of days because now Amazon has a few styles 50% off! I'm getting Declan these Mickey ones, and I think I might get these black ones:) Joey's never had a pair, but I think he might like these:)

Amazon-Grilling table

Today Amazon has the perfect grilling table for camping on sale for 47.60.  We've been wanting one for when we go camping, and this is one of the best deals I've seen. Now we'll have the perfect grilling table for when we go camping this year:) Can't wait to take this little guy on his first camping trip!

Spaghetti Thursday

My grandma always made pasta on Thursdays:) It was always my favorite day of the week, and I want to try and continue that tradition with my family.

First, I need my two favorite little helpers:)

Second, my ingredients, and then I'm ready to get started. 

My Sauce:)

Add browned sausage or meatballs to:

1 can crushed tomatoes

1 can sauce

1 sm. can tomato paste

about 1/2 tsp

~parsley

~garlic salt

~Italian seasoning

~onion powder

~oregano 

~salt/pepper to taste

Thursday is usually a pretty busy day, so I've started making my sauce in the crockpot:) I just brown my sausage, throw everything in and go:)

Tea party

Kylie hosted a tea party today, and Declan took being invited to his first tea party very seriously:)

So dapper☺️

Yummy! Since he couldn't have any tea sandwiches he decided on the cup😉

Kylie's favorite tea sandwiches:

8 ounces whipped cream cheese

1/4 cup mayo

1/2 peeled cucumber- I chop it up finely

1/4 tsp garlic salt

Salt/pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together, put on thinly sliced white bread, and enjoy:)

Fun at the park and HOBO wallet sale😉

Declan and I were cruising the sales around 5 this morning while I was feeding him, and we found select HOBO wallets on sale for 55% off on Amazon. They have metallic, kiwi, and floral-the metallic one is my favorite! We took a break from shopping, went to the park, had lunch, and when I came home to order one they were almost all gone😞 They still have the tri-fold wallet, so I'm thinking I might get that one instead. I want to get one to throw a few things in when we're heading out for a day of running errands or even a day at the park:)
